Speaking at DPC11

The title says it all: I’ll be speaking at DPC11. For those of you who don’t know what this means: it’s the 2011 edition of the Dutch PHP Conference.

DPC11 is the leading European PHP conference and attracks a big crowd and an awesome speaker lineup. Last year I spoke at the event as well and I must admit that DPC10 was the very first PHP conference I ever spoke at. My maiden conference talk so to say.

In that respect I’m honored to be invited again. This year the event is organized by Felix De Vliegher and Harrie Verveer. They are 2 awesome dudes who work at IBuildings and who are now the main community faces of the company. If you’re reading this: thank you for having me again, I won’t let you down!

I’m honored as I already mentioned, but also quite humble. I have to be, because this year’s lineup is seriously spectacular. A lot of PHP rock stars and a lot of interesting talks.

The talk I’m presenting is called Rolling out a MySQL cluster with MyQSLProxy & Memcached. It’s an implementation at Combell I’m showcasing. There are 2 main things that will be discussed: easy provisioning accross multiple servers and a single point of entry in the cluster. If you like the sound of this, come see my talk.

See you in Amsterdam in May!
